Hey guys, this message is for kicking off a discussion about the $SHROOM and $GSWAP migrations.
As you know the idea was to bet on ve(3,3), but after seeing how it has panned out for most projects and the added complexity that could mean for our target users (gamers newcomers to DeFi), we have decided to postpone the idea.
Our suggestion is a non-dilutive direct $SHROOM --> $NIFTYX migration for now as a first step, and down the road we can revisit the (3,3) idea... we will just round up the supply to 100M and the token will be issued on the c-chain where we'll setup some Joe pools with basic liquidity.
The main challenge is attracting new liquidity but we have several ideas. We will setup some farming pools with $GSWAP rewards and request help from some MMs.
Having the game socials out would also help, so we're waiting for some kick-ass visuals to be ready. Then we'll add them to updated Gameswap/Niftyx landings, include some cross-links with the game socials etc. This will be key, as once the game is visible we should attract a lot more eyes and renewed interest in the ecosystem with a "rising tide that lifts all boats" kind of situation.
GSWAP rewards/incentives will play an important part, so that's why we are going to suggest adding an inflationary process along with the GSWAP migration. We will suggest a transition from 20M to 1B without initial dilution:
1 GSWAP --> 50 GSWAPv2
Then supply will increase ~9% per year over 25 years (time til' Metaverse markets are at full force) until it reaches 10B (capped)... expanding increasingly over several years to accomodate protocol growth as more actors join (gamers, game studios, LPs, etc)
